- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Not happy at all with the performance of this company. After expenses, the total fee was roughly 75% of the estate! And a lot of the estate was still there after the sale! Another buyer had to come in and empty the rest of the house and clean the place! We had to wait for the check way too long, and after placing a call wondering where the money was, it was finally delivered. In my opinion, my Aunt would have been better off hiring an auction company. A letter was sent to the company on behalf of my Aunt asking to re-evaluate with no success. When hiring a company like this, my advice is to ask for a quote. If they can't give you a quote, set a percentage that you think is fair. If they won't take your offer, move on to the next company. If we had to do it over again, I would have advised my Aunt to hire an auction company. Set percentage limits and have your attorney look over the contract.By Joe Scheibinger, April 27, 2017
